Treatment recommendations are based on each patient's medical history, symptoms, current medications, laboratory testing when appropriate, treatment goals, and clinical evaluation.
Prescription medication is never guaranteed. When medication is considered, the decision to prescribe is made independently by the treating healthcare provider based on medical appropriateness and applicable state and federal requirements.

Founder & Family Nurse Practitioner
Sarina Helton is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of Optima Vida Healthcare.
Her clinical background includes primary care, telehealth, obesity medicine, weight management, metabolic health, hormone care, and sexual health.
She holds a Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine (CAE-OM) and has completed additional professional education focused on obesity and metabolic health.
Sarina's approach emphasizes evidence-based treatment, shared decision-making, patient education, and ongoing monitoring. Rather than beginning with a particular medication, care begins with understanding the patient's medical history, symptoms, goals, risks, and available treatment options.

Good care does not end when a prescription is written. Depending on the condition and treatment, follow-up may include symptom assessments, laboratory monitoring, medication adjustments, video visits, or other clinical evaluation.

Multi-State Telehealth Care
Optima Vida Healthcare provides telehealth services in states where its healthcare providers are appropriately licensed and authorized to practice.
Availability of specific services may vary by state. Certain treatments, particularly controlled substances, are subject to additional federal and state requirements and may not be available in every state.
Testosterone and other controlled-substance treatment through OVH is currently limited to eligible patients receiving care in Oklahoma.
