Hair Loss Care

Personalized evaluation and treatment for thinning hair and hair loss

Hair Loss Evaluation & Treatment

Hair loss and thinning can have many causes. Optima Vida Healthcare provides telehealth evaluation for adult men and women experiencing hair loss or thinning.

Your provider will review your medical history, medications, symptoms, pattern of hair loss, and other relevant factors to determine whether treatment may be appropriate. Additional evaluation or laboratory testing may be recommended when clinically indicated.

Treatment and prescription medication are not guaranteed.

How It Works

1. Complete Your Intake
Tell us about your hair loss, medical history, medications, previous treatments, and treatment goals.

2. Provider Evaluation
A licensed healthcare provider reviews your information to determine possible contributing factors and whether additional evaluation, photographs, laboratory testing, or a video visit may be appropriate.

3. Review Treatment Options
Your provider will discuss appropriate treatment options, including potential benefits, risks, alternatives, and expected monitoring.

4. Prescription When Appropriate
If prescription treatment is clinically appropriate, a prescription may be provided. You may use the pharmacy of your choice when applicable, and OVH may provide information about commonly used pharmacy options.

5. Follow-Up & Monitoring
Hair-loss treatment often requires ongoing use and monitoring. Established patients can submit follow-up and refill requests through the Practice Better portal or OVH website.

Important Treatment Information

Hair loss can have many causes, and not every type of hair loss is appropriate for treatment through telehealth. Your provider may recommend laboratory testing, evaluation by your primary care provider, dermatology evaluation, or another form of care when appropriate.

Completing an intake or paying for a medical evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or any specific medication. Treatment decisions are made by your healthcare provider based on your individual clinical circumstances.
