How It Works
1. Complete Your Intake
Tell us about your symptoms, medical history, medications, and treatment goals.
2. Provider Evaluation
A licensed healthcare provider reviews your information and determines whether additional information, laboratory testing, or a video visit is needed.
3. Discuss Treatment Options
When treatment is appropriate, your provider will discuss available options, potential risks and benefits, alternatives, and expected costs.
4. Prescription When Appropriate
Medication may be prescribed when clinically appropriate. You may use the pharmacy of your choice when applicable, and OVH may provide information about commonly used pharmacy options.
5. Follow-Up
Ongoing treatment requires appropriate follow-up and monitoring. Established patients may submit follow-up and refill requests through the patient portal or OVH website.
Important Treatment Information
Completing an intake or paying for a medical evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or any specific treatment. Treatment decisions are made independently by your healthcare provider based on your medical history, symptoms, contraindications, potential risks and benefits, applicable clinical standards, and applicable law.
Some sexual-health medications are not appropriate for everyone and may require additional evaluation before prescribing.
